Dreams vs Reality

Finally, my sculpture is coming together. I’ve been changing my mind about it far too often, I keep changing my mind on what it means to me, and what i want it to convey to other people. I don’t want it to be an attack on reality, I just want to portray it.

I chose to put the “Dreams” text where the heart is supposed to be, as if dreams are explosions that come from our hearts, explosions of our feelings (not always happy ones), but feeling nonetheless. “Reality” on the other hand, is on the ground, in the tornado which is life, tough, hard, but worth living.
